What is CEDAW?
The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, commonly known as CEDAW, is an international human rights treaty addressing discrimination against women.
The convention discusses equality in areas including political participation, education, employment, healthcare, nationality, and family relations.
Religion and Human Rights
Questions concerning religion, culture, law, and human rights have been debated throughout history. The Center provides materials examining these issues from a human rights and democratic perspective.
Respect for freedom of religion and belief exists alongside discussions about equality and individual rights.
